It is important to learn these protocols, follow them, and contemplate their meaning.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Be on time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">All students must bow on and off the dojo floor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">All outdoor clothing must be hung up properly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Heel of all outdoor footwear must be place neatly against the wall.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Always keep your uniform (gi) clean and neat.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Tie your belt (obi) neatly with both ends at equal lengths.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">All jewellery must be removed.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">All female students must wear white crew neck t-shirts under their gi.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">All finger and toe nails must be clipped short. Females may keep longer finger nails but only with care.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Long hair must be tie back neatly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Arm crossing, hands on hips or sitting with legs stretched out is inappropriate.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Always bow to your training partner.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Reply to feedback given by the Instructor with a strong and spirited &#8220;Oss&#8221;.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Inform the instructor before class if you are on any medication or have any minor injuries that may affect your training.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Higher belts must assist lower belts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Always thank the person who just helped you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Never criticize another dojo, style or teacher.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Keep the dojo clean and even if it is not your mess.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Return all equipment to its proper place when you are finished using it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">It is impolite to leave class before it is over without permission.
