Tsuruoka NL is part of the Tsuruoka Karate Organization, which spans many locations across Canada and the USA.  Beginning in 1997, and running every two years, the Tsuruoka Nationals allow students compete in kata, team kata, and kumite against other affiliated clubs in the Tsuruoka Karate Organization.  Tsuruoka NL was proud to host the Tsuruoka Nationals in 2009 right here in Newfoundland and Labrador.
