Tsuruoka NL is part of the provincial Karate NL Organization.  Other member clubs include Beamers Karate Club (Torbay), and Avalon Karate.  Through out the year, Karate NL hosts the Provincial Tournaments for its members.  The events in this tournament include individual kata, team kata, and kumite.  The schedule for the 2013-2014 tournaments are as follows:

October 25-27, 2013 – Karate NL hosts the 2013 Atlantic Championships
February 8, 2014 – open to KNL members and friends of KNL (ex. Nfld Karate, St. Pierre & Miquelon)
March 8, 2014 – open to KNL members and friends of KNL (ex. Nfld Karate, St. Pierre & Miquelon)
May 3, 2014 – members only – KNL Provincial Championships
